OAKRAA Fence Staining Terms & Conditions

These Fence Staining Terms & Conditions (“Fence T&C”) supplement the OAKRAA No-Worry Home Maintenance Terms & Conditions. By approving or scheduling fence staining services with OAKRAA, you agree to these terms in addition to our full Terms & Conditions, available here: https://noworry-home.com/terms-and-conditions/.

1. Scope of Services

OAKRAA will perform fence cleaning, preparation, and staining services as described in your proposal or invoice, including:

• Power washing and surface cleaning the day before staining
• Application of two coats of stain
• Minor repairs such as securing loose boards

Note: The full scope of services, including linear footage, special notes, and any client-specific instructions, is detailed in your invoice or estimate, which serves as the official record of the project.

Significant repairs, including replacement of missing sections, loose or rotted posts, or structural issues, are not included and must be addressed prior to staining. OAKRAA can provide a separate quote for these repairs if requested.

2. Client Obligations

Clients must:

1. Provide access to all fence areas, including unlocked gates and cleared obstructions.
2. Relocate personal property near the fence line and secure pets.
3. Provide access to a functioning outdoor electrical outlet and hose bib (water source).
4. Ensure any client-provided stain:
   • Is unopened and unused (no partial cans)
   • Was purchased within 12 months of the scheduled staining date
   • Is supplied in sufficient quantity for the project
5. Ensure that any stain or paint, whether provided by OAKRAA or the client, complies with HOA, neighborhood, or municipal requirements. OAKRAA is not responsible for non-compliance, color mismatches, fines, or required corrections.

3. Guarantee

• 2-Year Fade & Water Repel Guarantee: When OAKRAA supplies and applies the stain, we guarantee the finish will resist significant fading and maintain water repellency for 2 years from the application date. This does not cover damage due to structural issues, neglect, power washing, sprinklers, or client-provided stain that does not meet our requirements.
• Client-Provided Stain: Guarantee applies only if the stain meets the requirements outlined above. No warranty is provided for color matching, durability, or performance of client-supplied materials.

4. Minor Fence Repairs

OAKRAA will perform minor repairs such as securing loose boards as part of the preparation process. Significant repairs, including replacement of missing sections, loose or rotted posts, or structural issues, are not included and must be addressed by the client prior to staining. OAKRAA can provide a separate quote for these repairs upon request.

5. Site Protection & Cleanup

OAKRAA will take reasonable measures to protect surrounding areas during cleaning and staining. However, the power washing process may cause minor wood splinters or debris. While we clean the work area, some fragments may remain and are considered a normal byproduct of preparation.

6. Payment & Scheduling

Payment is due as outlined in your invoice. Staining is weather-dependent, and OAKRAA reserves the right to adjust scheduling to ensure quality results.
